An Empirical Study On The Comparative Advantage Of Agricultural Products In Shandong Province

As a basic sector,agriculture has a direct impact on economic development and is also closely linked to the lives of the people.Shandong Province is a large agricultural province in China,with good natural conditions,superior geographical location,convenient transportation,large land cultivation area and mild climate,and is suitable for crop production in two seasons.In the process of agricultural development,a number of advantageous agricultural products with local characteristics have been formed.Nowadays,with the transformation and development of agricultural production,some agricultural products in Shandong Province have gradually emerged a unique advantage.This aspect has promoted the improvement of people's quality of life,and on the other hand,it has also promoted the steady economic development of Shandong Province as a whole.However,under this background,in order to realize the sustainable development of agriculture in Shandong Province,besides paying attention to the advantageous features of these agricultural products,we should also use a rational attitude to observe and analyze the development problems of various types of advantageous agricultural products.Therefore,a detailed analysis of the comparative advantages of agricultural products in Shandong Province and the exploration of the status quo and influencing factors of the comparative advantages of agricultural products in Shandong Province are undoubtedly of great significance.This article takes the theory of comparative advantage and different methods of dynamic evolution and comparative advantage as the theoretical basis.Through Comprehensive Revealed Comparative Advantage Index,Revealed Symmetry Comparative Advantage,Additive Revealed Comparative Advantage,Net Export Revealed Comparative Advantage Index,to analyze the comparative advantages of Shandong agricultural products in the world agricultural product market,and compare it with the Chinese agricultural products in the world and major exporting countries(regions)market.Comparing the preponderance status,we have a quantitative study on the status of agricultural products' comparative advantage in Shandong Province.Finally,based on the factor endowment theory and time series data,this article constructs econometric model and uses empirical analysis methods to thoroughly investigate the influencing factors of agricultural product comparative advantage in Shandong Province.Furthermore,according to the empirical results and the practical problems in the development of agricultural products in Shandong Province,this article puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions in order to promote the full play ofcomparative advantages of agricultural products in Shandong Province and promote the effective shaping of its competitiveness in domestic and international markets.
