A Study Of Tourism Cooperation Between Yunnan And South Asia

As the development of world economy globalization development, study on regional tourism cooperation is one of the core subjects of tourism research.Open to South Asia is an important strategy in China's Opening Policy in the new century and on of the three strategic goals of Yunnan Province as well. As far as the mature political and economic situations of South Asia are concerned, the time of opening to this area is coming. Hence, the thesis is to analyses the principles, the strategies, the routes and the corresponding contents of tourism development between Yunnan Province and South Asia area based on the status quo and the cooperation conditions. Further more, problems are raised, and the countermeasures are presented.Firstly, the thesis reviewed the regional tourism cooperation study of both home and abroad, and in addition, it summarized the tourism cooperation study between Yunnan and South Asia. Secondly, the thesis tried to analyses the cooperation condition, problems involved, and the future of the cooperation. By using SWOT analysis method, it drew a conclusion that the cooperation is feasible. Thirdly, the thesis probed into basic theories which can be used in the cooperation development. Then, the thesis raised the cooperation principles, the strategies, the routes and the corresponding contents of tourism development between Yunnan Province and South Asia area. Finally, the corresponding countermeasures were presented to solve the problems in the cooperation process.
