Research On The Obstacles And Countermeasures Of Trade Cooperation Between Yunnan Province And South Asian Countries

China’s economy has achieved a rapid development in the context of economic globalization and regional economic integration further development background in recent years.China also has strengthen the promotion of the open coastal and constantly put the strategic focus into the westward while the country implementing a proactive opening strategy.Since 2009,the state support Yunnan Province for the construction of an important opening bridgehead of southwestern China,so that the Yunnan Province has become the opening "cutting edge" from the "end".In recent years,China’s trade and economic relations with South Asian countries has been rapid developed because of China’s actively cooperation with South Asian countries as well as implementation of the "East" plan of India and other South Asian countries.The economic and trade exchanges between Yunnan and South Asian countries also have become increasingly frequent and the South Asia area has become the fastest growing of trade with Yunnan Province,which is the fourth largest trading partner of Yunnan Province. But we also found that with the deepening of trade cooperation, some practical issues have become increasingly prominent like the complexity of the bilateral dealings procedure,the varies standards,the intricate management,etc.Those issues put up a barrier of trade cooperation between Yunnan Province and South Asian countries and hindered the bilateral economic development.This paper started from the current trade cooperation situation between Yunnan and South Asian countries, analyzed the bilateral trade situation.Then analyzed the currently barriers and reasons of the bilateral trade from Yunnan province’s industrial development,the Trade Complementarity between Yunnan Province and South Asian countries, the effect of multilateral cooperation mechanisms and the macro-level political factors.Then put forward some suggestions for overcoming these barriers.Yunnan Province is now in its industrial structure period of adjustment and transformation, in terms of industrial upgrading should focus on The TradeComplementarity with South Asian countries,select differentiation strategies,enhance added value of products and widening the industrial chain to optimize the South Asian country’s trade situation.And the current economic corridor of BCIM and China-South Asia Expo has made very significant achievements and received greater bilateral economic benefit, Both sides should further tap the potential for cooperation.Next, the Yunnan Province should deepen cooperation with South Asian countries and broaden bilateral cooperation platform to enhance economic efficiency.In addition,the government should meet the needs of the development of bilateral relations as a precondition to further deepen all-round cooperation of trade and economic relations and promote bilateral cooperation to a new level.
