Since 1990s, with the adjustment of the structure of world's economic, acceleration of world's economic integration and the fast development of the third industry, service trade develop quickly and the rate of its development overtakes that of international commodity trade and service trade becomes an important criteria for a country's competitive force. Since reform and open, our service develop quickly and its scale expanded. Besides, after the WTO entry, we have to lower market entering barriers, open service market progressively, allow foreign capital entering and implement national treatment, which will bring strong challenge to the development of our service. Therefore, analyzing and assessing the competitive force of our service trade will not only provide objective foundation for government taking rational economical policy, impelling service developing towards further level, but also do good to instruct the government of service trade, reduce deficit of service trade, enhance our economic force.The theory of international service trade can be concluded: comparative advantage theory and competitive advantage theory. Comparative advantage theory is founded by David Ricardo. Onlin , Heckscher developed the theory ,summed the reason of higher efficiency one country's comparatitive product up to the advantage of having plenty of labor, capital and so on ,but the theory is only analyzing the question of international trade in static, mainly emphasis the advantage of one country's natural factors. It can't grasp the new feature of international trade in the term of knowledge economic and formulate science competitive strategy.Poter's international competitive advantage theory is based on its diamond model .The theory sums the competitive advantage of country and industry up to four essential factor :factor term, demand term, relevant and support industry, strategy, structure and competitive state of company and two subsidiary factor: opportunity and government .That theory offer completely new thinking for our studying international service trade ,broaden the view of our theory .It can be used to explain rationally the present situation, forecast the development prospect of a country's service trade. It also has an important reference meanings for a country formulating developing strategy of service and enhancing the competitive power of service trade.
