Forming stable and effective supply chain partnership to integrate the resources of suppliers and buyers is an important issue in carrying out supply chain management strategy. This thesis, based on game theory, studies the process of forming supply chain partnership to provide some useful advices for the enterprises involved in a supply chain. Emphasis is focused on the decision of viable cooperative partners for a supply chain project, the biding game among potential partner enterprises, the evaluation and selection of supply chain partners, and the supply chain profit allocation model. Its main contents are summarized as follows.(1) The inevitability of the cooperation among supply chain enterprises is demonstrated by applying value chain theory. The game process is discussed in forming a supply chain project. And a framework is presented for forming a supply chain project from the identification of market opportunity to the establishment of cooperative partnership.(2) The cooperative scope between a core enterprise and its potential partners and the biding price game model of potential partner enterprises are studied by using Bayes-Nash equilibrium in non-cooperation game theory.
