In an absolute competitive economic environment, Detail represents characteristic and connotation of a brand, and it also creates competitory superiority. Success or not will be decided by Details. Details management in a corporation is imperative under the situation as we are in an age of paying attention to tiny little Details. This paper starts with defining the concept and the trait of Detail, summarizing that Detail has diversities and complexities, and it shows integrality and timeliness as it is systemic and objective. The paper states that paying attention to Detail is decided by the objectivity of substance and the value of paying attention to Detail is to establish consciousness of "always for people", to improve the managing level and to create productivity as well as increase customers' benefits. The third part of the paper expounds the concept of Details Management basing on the systemic modern management theoretics, and analyzes the characteristics of Details Management. The paper emphasizes that Details Management should be started from shaping a concept and lies on carrying through the idea during the process of decision-making, planning, leading, performing, controlling and getting feedback. The forth part discusses Details Management in modern hotels and mentions 6 principles.
