This thesis mainly describes the strategy of a company through a strategy map, to achieve conformity of the four layers of The Balanced Scorecard, which are finance, customer, process, learning and growth, and to establish a visible strategy with a mutual language base. In the mean while, with strategy as a tool, and taking further steps to analyze the aim and target, the thesis constitutes Strategic Key Performance Index management (KPI management) system of a company.The Balanced Scorecard has two predominant functions: it is both the tool of strategy management and KPI management. In this thesis, the emphasis is laid on demonstration of KPI management function for The Balanced Scorecard, to make sure the company's strategy scheme be carried out efficiently and to solve a series of problems which the company is facing to.This thesis is divided to four chapters:Chapter 1reviews the development history of The Balanced Scorecard and to expound its theory.Chapter 2 analyzes and explains the problems which consist in strategy management and KPI management of X company, and provides with a solution. Chapter 3 introduces a series of steps and methods how to use The Balanced Scorecard to establish the system of strategic KPI management for a company.The last part is the summary of the whole thesis.
