Study On The Circular Economy Development For Copper Industry

As the foundational industry in national economy, copper industry plays a very important role in the national economic construction. In the meanwhile, copper industry is a typical traditional economy-developing mode, which is high consumption of resources and heavy pollution of environment. It is disobedient with the tenet of sustainable development in modern society. It is a very important task that how to change the single way of controlling terminal pollution, to use natural resources reasonably, to carry out the whole process control on industrial pollution, to keep copper industry sustainable development and to take a new way in industrialization.Since 1990's, some developed countries have regarded developing circular economy and trying to establish the circular society as a key approach to carry out the sustainable policy. From sustainable development to circular economy, it reflects that human being is seeking for the harmonious developing way with nature. Circular economy is an ecological economy in itself. It puts emphasis on the harmonious development of economy and eco-environment. Namely it is a feedback economic operational way of resources-products-regenerated resources. It gives attention to achieve harmony among society, the economy and the environment. That is the reason why we consider circular economy as an embodiment of scientific development concept of emphasizing the harmony development of economy and eco-environment Circular economy features on making efficient of natural resources, low input of natural resources and minimizing waste discharge. The core of circular economy is 3R principle: Reducing, Reusing and Recycling. The aims are to obtain the most efficient recycling and utilization resources with the smallest resources consumption. Then it will achieve minimization of waste discharge and human-being's economic activities ecotypically. We will achieve win to win after reaching the coincidence between economical activities and materials recycling rules of natural ecosystem.Circular Economy, which is regarded as a new economic mode for enhancement of resources and ecological environmental performance, has been highly concerned than ever before in China.
