A Study On The Effects Of FDI On Jiangsu Exports Industry's Competitiveness

Jiangsu Province's exports industry has already been the important source of economy development and new increasing focus of national economy development. Under economic globalization, with Jiangsu export industry as research object, the paper bases on related researches from home and abroad, makes good use of large amounts of statistical data, and explores FDI's effects on regional industry competitiveness.The first chapter is introduction. The second chapter introduces several index systems of evaluating industry's competitiveness, and suggests this paper's research model as well as basic methods, so formulating research method of exports industry's competitiveness under the background of FDI entering. The third chapter firstly analyzes FDI's effects on host country's exports industry's competitiveness, proves the above hypothesis with empirical methods. In the forth chapter, Jiangsu exports industry is put into five types according to technology content. With lagging regress model and Granger test, by the analysis method of YANG Danhui, the paper compares the foreign funded and domestic companies, including export scale, technology level, trade competitiveness and International market shares. Finally, the paper suggests we should further improve the environment for investment, take overseas investment into serious consideration, and try to balance the development between south and north.The main innovations are as follows:a.
