Research On Planning And Design Of City Public Logistics Information Platform

With the development of modern logistics, cities are playing a bigger role as an important node. Although city logistics can drive the development of city, it also produces adverse effects. Being an objective requirement of the development of modern city logistics, the planning and design of city public logistics information platform (CPLIP) have already been launched in our country. Although more than thirty cities have worked out their CPLIP plans, the theory of its planning and design is not mature. Therefore, research on the planning of CPLIP has great practical significance and becomes an urgent task. Basing on the project of Zhanjiang logistics information platform, this thesis probes into the theory and puts forward the method of planning and design of CPLIP in order to help to the science and rationality of the construction of CPLIP.There are four parts in this thesis: In the first part, it sets forth the background and the problems of city logistics, and points up that the solution is to construct the logistics information system, of which CPLIP is an important part. The concept of CPLIP, the necessity of its construction and it's recent development are also analyzed in this part.The users of CPLIP are defined and classified in part two, and the CPLIP must not only satisfy the enterprises' need for logistics information management, but also give support to the statistics of logistics market and its macro - control carried out by relevant administrative departments of the government.In part three, this thesis designs the architecture model and the users service of CPLIP. Basing on information grid and logistics information grid, six-tier architecture and collaborative model of CPLIP is presented. The function of CPLIP can be divided into E-business center, catalogue management, information center, community service, supply chain management, application trusteeship, and location service.In part four, the thesis lays out the plan and design of Zhanjiang logistics public information platform, which contain the analysis of logistics information status, demand and top structure of CPLIP.Finally, a conclusion is made in the thesis, and it points out the further direction of research on CPLIP. The paper studies on the theory, method and practice of the planning and design of CPLIP. The creative work has been done.
