Since China TieTong Corporation has just separated from Ministry of Railway years ago, its mechanism and practices of human resource management (HRM) almost remains unchanged. As a result, this can not fit the development of the market economy. In order to make the HRM adapt to the new developments, something must be down.Combine the HRM theory with the some good practices of some successful telecommunication companies, the article tries to make some HRM proposals through the analysis of the current mechanism and practices of HRM of China TieTong Guangdong Branch. to enable better practices.The article mainly has four parts. The first part is about the outlines of HRM theory; the second part is about the current situation of the HRM practices of TieTong Guangdong Branch; the third part is about some good practices in area of HRM of some successful telecommunication companies; finally the article tries to make some proposals of HRM for the Guangdong Branch.
