Our Country's Information Network Operator Amalgamation Problem Research

The situation of our country's information industry can be generalized as three networks(telecommunication, computer and CATV) develop independently and six telecommunication operators coexist. This situation causes some phenomena as follows: repetitive industry investment is very huge, investment benefit is poor and industry value chain is distorted. At the same time, new technologies and new services emerge endlessly; bring forward some requests to the information industry reconstruction. Furthermore, problem of the 3rd generation wireless communications license provides an opportunity to the information industry reconstruction.This paper tries to analyze the problem of our country's information network operators' integration and bring forward reasonable methods, make reasonable suggestions for the development of the industry.By analyzing the importance, reason and method of our country's information operators' reconstruction, we can make the following conclusions:Firstly, the telecommunication operators exist at the core status in the information industry chain.Secondly, the integration of telecommunication operators is reasonable and inevitable.Thirdly, the best solution of integration is three-networks-combination.
