1. Quantitative Genetic methods were applied to estimate Heritability of differentcharacters of Gaoyou duck using breeding information of 15 years. Heritability of bodyweight at 56 days, egg weight at 300 days and number of eggs at 500 days were 0.27,0.11, and 0.37, respectively. An association analysis showed that body weight at 56 days, egg weight at 300 days and the number of egg at 500 days were related to each other.Genetic correlation [r_A(xy)] between the number of egg at 500 days and egg weight at300 days was 0.1797; and between number of egg at 500 days and body weight at 56days was 0.2759. Egg weight at 300 days was highly genetically correlated with bodyweight at 56 days, showed a positive high value (0.9168). Estimates of inbreedingcoefficient, its distribution, and correlation between inbreeding coefficient and relatedtraits of Gaoyou drake were evaluated. Correlation analysis exhibited very low geneticrelationships (p<0.05) in Gaoyou duck. Evolution of body weight at 56 days, eggweight at 300 days and number of egg at 500 days were also estimated acrosssuccessive generations.2. Gaoyou duck industrialization status were generally first time analyzed throughwell-bred breed system, evolution status of regionality and regularization, establishedgreat corporations, strengthen brand consciousness, and consummate sell network. Fiveadvantages of Gaoyou duck industrialization were estimated, thus, breeding and brandpredominance, natural resources, quality of production, geography advantages andindustrial policy advantages. At the same time, we also advance Gaoyouindustrialization suggestions, such as accelerate breeds improvement, standard breedprograms, speed up brand completion, innovate operation system, and mastermindmarket employer and so on.
