Along with the development of economic globalization, globally the economies will be interconnected more and more tightly. It has been a vital issue that how to establish the effective supply chain and make use of the economic globalization and international resource to enhance competitiveness for a company. There is no doubt that global sourcing strategy is one of the most effective ways to use international resource during the process of expansion. The volume of global sourcing is surging in an incredible speed. According to the statistic conducted by WTO, there are approximate 30% of the goods in the world have been transported across the custom which show the fact that these goods were purchase from overseas suppliers or sold abroad or mutual trade.The reasons why the companies prefer to purchase globally include three aspects. The first one is the globalization trend, which can help a company win the overseas market share quickly. The second reason is to acquire the external resource. The company can reduce the cost through reducing the cost. Last but not least is the pressure from cost. The fierce competition will create huge and increasing cost pressure, which can be solved via purchasing from the low-cost countries. As a fast-developing company, JN has encountered the problems in terms of cost pressure and grabbing the overseas market. The current purchase system in JN cannot meet the demand of development and strategy any more. This article analyzes the status quo of global sourcing in JN and put forth the suggestions for improving the purchase flow on the basis of the current problems in JN so as to further implement global sourcing strategy. Meanwhile, It is inevitable that the risks are bound to rise in the implementation of global sourcing strategy, in light of which the article makes an in-depth analysis on these problems and presents the methods for risk evading.
