| Since reform and opening to the outside world, Chinese banking construction has made a great contribution to the national economy. But the universal problem is the weak core competence. As the leading state-owned commercial bank, we must improve the core competence rapidly to insure a success in the intense international competition, and a strong support to Chinese economy security and development. Since China officially entered into WTO, promised to open the economics market on December 11, 2001, researching the core competence by standard theory has come to ahead. The present article is based on the background of the joint-stock reform in X bank, analysed the contents and result of the reform by comparative analysis and empirical research, aim to present the state-owned commercial banks reformed into the share holding system to match the market and real situation of the companies, achieved the strategy of improving the core competence. This article approached some related suggestions.It is separated into 5 chapters: the first is introduction, with a brief statement of the basic theory of core competence. The second chapter compared the core competence of X bank and its competitors, searched the market share rate, financial situation, non-performing rate and capital adequacy ratio, etc. In the third chapter, the writer analysed the inherent advantages and restrictions in the core competence of X bank. The fourthly is an overview of the joint-stock reform of X bank. The Last chapter presented how the joint-stock reform improved the core competence of X bank and its post-work. |
