Study On Xi'an Datang Telecom's Delivery Lead-time Based On ERP Environment

Xi'an Datang Telecom applied ERP system in 2002 in order to adjust the business flow, improve management, cut down the delivery time and upgrade the market competition advantages. But the delivery time didn't cut down and the in time delivery rate went down after four years of using ERP system. This paper analysis the business flow associated with delivery, such as the MPS making flow, the contract review flow and the production and the delivery flow. The two key factors affecting the lead-time, first of which is the unreasonable business flows and the second is the inexact lead-time in ERP system based on wrong calculating way. The delivery flows such as the MPS making flow, the contract review flow and the production and the delivery flow are optimized in this paper, so as to cut down the delivery lead-time. The calculating models about the delivery lead-time are brought forward too. Using these models can calculate the exact lead-time. It makes the ERP system more accurately, which can cut down the delivery lead-time and improve the advantages of market completion to this company.
