The current competition in sports products market is becoming more and more fierce,which does not only exist in price,but also in quality and delivery time.The characteristics is the diversity and acceleration of customers' requirements.Consequently,the impact on the production is that the products life cycle is getting shorter and the products lead time becomes one of the major competition factors.Especially for the transnational enterprises who have business globally,the products' lead-time is an important factor to impact on its market competitiveness.Therefore,how to shorten the lead time becomes the urgent demands of the enterprises.The thesis takes D company as the research target,to analyze the problems that D company has confronted in their products lead-time reduction strategy and proposes action plans.The research and analysis is focused on D company's demands' forecast,supply chain designment,the matching of production and inventory mode,logistics process based on the relevant theories in supply chain management,lean production,inventory management and logistics management.The thesis works out the action plans for D company: research the big data analysis system and intellectual system;increase the accuracy of the demands forecast;combine and share the information of demands forecast,order management and inventory;re-design an appropriate supply chain;promote lean production to avoid waste by using JIT,production line balancing,visual management and Kanban management;use VMI to keep reasonable stock to reduce the lead time;optimize the logistics process by simplifying the distribution,cancel the distribution by central warehouse and suppliers deliver the products directly to the warehouses;increase the railway transportation ratio.Some of the proposals are already implemented in D company and have good effects.These action plans can not only be used in D company,but also can be applied in other transnational manufacturing enterprises who have definite management foundations.
