Nowadays there are many credit deficits in construction market in mainland. These problems have not only prevented development of construction market, but also conduced to unsteadiness of the whole society. So construction credit system's set up is not only the solution of such credit deficits, but also an important part of credit system in society.Many factors bring credit problems. Firstly, some market characteristics determine that construction market is prone to arise credit problems in market; Secondly, unbalance in construction market, which means supply has overgrown to demand, makes for certain credit problems; Thirdly, property problems and law problems because of the turn from command economics to market economics make for credit problems; Lastly, information asymmetry caused by deficits of credit system is the most important factor to credit problems.Pointed to these factors making for credit problems, main tasks in setting up construction credit system includes constructing credit standard system and credit information platform besides improving credit law and regulation.As for credit standard system, standard subject is confirmed though analysis of construction market body; Standard content is confirmed with credit element theory; Marking system is confirmed by Analysis of Hierarchy process(AHP).Integrating advanced credit information model in developed countries with current conditions in construction market, credit information platform is set up in two steps. The former is start-up by government, and the latter is leaded by market body.To improve credit law and regulation, we must improve the current existing law and regulation in credit principles and set up a new credit regulation as guarantee of credit system.
