The Research On Designing Performance Evaluation Index System Of Exhibition Based On Stakeholder Theory

Since the adoption of reform and opening policies, particularly in recent years, along with the development of the economy, the increasingly close of international exchanges and the rise of international political standing, MICE (meeting, incentive tour, convention and exhibition) has grown more vigorously than ever before. China have put on the Asian Game, the UN Fourth World Conference on Women, and the Kuming Expo 99 successfully. Along with the success of bidding for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2010 Shanghai Expo, MICE enter periods of rapid development in our country. In academic study, Chinese scholars have studied all sides of MICE, and the result of research give the instructive for Chinese MICE development. In fact, Chinese MICE begin at a comparatively late date, the law are still unsound, market mechanism are disordered excess competition still exist in MICE. So how to guide exhibition and how to protect the exhibition market are one of the most burning issues of the day.Learning experience from the developed countries, the exhibition performance evaluation can guide the enterprises and visitors who visited the exhibition effectively and supervise the hosts. Exhibition performance evaluation is also an effective way to build a well know brand. MICE is in an early stage of development and there is not independent intermediaries body in our country. In addition, little research has been conducted in exhibition performance evaluation, so , it's a new line of research.Based on the theory of stakeholder, through literature and questionnaire investigation, we conclude the stakeholders of the exhibition. Through questionnaire investigation and Pared-Samples T Test, we classify the exhibition stakeholders. Based on the result above, we analyze the stakeholders' interests in using Fish Bone Diagram, and put forward the exhibition performance evaluation indicator system.
