Core Expansion Strategy Research Of Unlisted Subsidiary Of State-Owned Enterprises

In recent years, along with the reforming of the large state-owned enterprises, some new enterprises come into being, unlisted subsidiary of state-owned enterprises. Due to domestic and historical condition limits, the subsistence and development of such unlisted subsidiary of state-owned enterprises is facing rigorous challenge. If this problem can not be solved, the correctness of large state-owned enterprises restructuring may be doubtful.In this thesis the author starts with the introduction how comes the unlisted subsidiary of state-owned enterprises and its characteristics, give a deep study on the present condition, existent common problems and comes to the conclusion that the insufficient core business productivity is the main reason of the present management difficulties and low profitability in the unlisted subsidiary part. How to solve the problem of subsistence and development, and keep a sound development of such unlisted subsidiary part? In order to solve this problem, the author, based on his personal working experience, work practice and thinking settlement, put forward a new solution, namely, the core expansion strategy research of unlisted subsidiary of state-owned enterprises. In consideration of the theory of returning to the core business and its expansion, the main idea of the strategy is as follows: analyze the present conditions——>find back the core business——>make the core business stronger——>analyze bordering business——>expand from the bordering business——>analyze expansion mode——>to gain benefit continuously in strict and repeated way.The author makes presentation and analysis on the present conditions of Dushanzi Petrochemical Works, the unlisted subsidiary part of the enterprises where the author has been working, and then find out where the problem is finally gives solution to the urgent problem--subsistence by reevaluating and making stronger the core business. With certain funds accumulation and inner adjustment the enterprises will expand its business from the core one to bordering ones, and find a reusable mode to realize its final goal that it is to gain benefit continuously in a strict and repeatable way, and achieve sustainable and sound development.
