The paper is established in electric power industry, study on the optimization problem of energy structure for generating electric power, make it realize the sustainable development in electric power industry, at the same time, economize the energy and protect environments far as possible, economize the cost and pay attention to the performance on the biggest degree, keep the electric power industry developing healthily, harmoniously and steadily. This problem is outstanding in the region with flourishing energy. For this, select the energy structure of Inner Mongolia as the investigated subject. Analyze the present research actuality of the energy structure optimization for generating electric power, and point out the concept of comprehensive influence factor by the analysis of various energies for generating electric power. The factor considered the sustainable development in electric power industry at the time of considering the cost. Based on this, built up the optimization model of energy structure for generating electric power, make up the shortage existed in the present optimization model and realized the optimization by intellect algorithm. Making 2020 as the prediction year, give the direction of optimization of energy structure for generating electric power in the future. Hope the model can do some help to the future research to the energy structure optimization for generating electric power.
