Information Flow Analysis Of Construction Project

With the maximization and region decentralization of the construction project becoming more and more obvious,the information sharing based on IT technology becomes the main means that the project communicates, the project information system emerges as the times require. Systemic analysis of information flow plays an important role in system plan and system analysis. The paper analysis the information flow of all participators in life-cycle of the construction project, information flow of target control modules and administrative structure inside every participator, laying the foundation in final construction of project information system.The fundamental conception of the information flow is explained in the paper firstly, including the concept, classification and transfer link of information flow. The result of improving information flow model by information flow analysis is also discussed. The concept related to participator of the life-cycle of the construction project and administrative structures of participator has been explained at the same time.The classification and coding system of project information are discussed, illustrating the data description of project information. On the basis of information classification and coding, the information flow of all participators in all-life-cycle of the construction project is analyzed, giving emphasis to the dispatcher, the content, the coding and the receiver of the information.And then the information flow of target control modules and administrative structure inside every participator is analyzed. Concerning target control modules analysis, the paper mainly discusses the information flow of the cost control, timing control, quality control, contract management and HSE (Health/Safety/Environment) management. Seeing that the setting-up of the information system is based on the project but not based on enterprises, information flow analysis of administrative structures inside participators is to analyze information demand of person of every layer in participator's administrative structure, on the premise of achieving project target.Finally, the technical supports and application of the technology in the information management system based on administrative structure have been discussed.
