During the years after World Warâ…¡, the eastern Asia-typed countries like Japan and Singapore, with the rapid development of its economy, formed the rising of East Asia and"East Asia miracle". With its rapid development of economy, these countries and areas become the developing industrial countries. The economic developments in East Asia mainly rely on export-oriented strategy and FDI, and the success of East Asia has been witnessed by the whole world.Then the financial crisis started in South and East Asia in 1997 made the East Asia-Typed countries suffered a lot, which made people to think over the bad effect of the East Asia Model.In this thesis, I analyzed the features of FDI and the current conditions of the international division in East Asia as well as pointed out the problems in them. Moreover, faced with the challenge of globalization, regionalism is getting its new dynamics. East Asia has not set up its own regional cooperation system and organization which covers the whole area. After experiencing last East Asia Financial Crisis, most nations realized the necessity of cooperation among them.Therefore, the purpose of the dissertation is about how to establish a reasonable system of the regional cooperation and division in East Asia in future. In addition, China should play an important role in promoting the reestablishment of cooperation in East Asia because it is becoming more and more prosperous.
