Application Of BPR Theory For Enterprise To Implement ERP

In the modern society, the requirements of the customers vary from time to time. The innovation of the technology is accelerating. The life of the product is shortened. The competition of the marketing is very intensive. All the reasons above (customer, change and competition) form the three elements affecting the existing of the modern enterprises. The diversity and the frequent changing requirements make the life of the product shorten quickly. So the enterprises need innovation,which should give up the traditional function management, make the process re-organized based on the theory of BPR, and introduce the ERP system on the basis of BPR so that all the enterprise resource is organized and the enterprise can run efficiently and economically. It points out that BPR is the premise of the ERP, and ERP can promise the BRP implement. The satisfied result can be achieved if only the BPR and ERP combine together.This text mainly studied as follows contents:1.The thesis mainly introduces the creating background, concept, theory basis and implementation principle of BPR and ERP. It expounds the principle that enterprise has to reform and innovate because of the change of competition environment.2.From the case study of Lucent Technologies Shanghai Fiber Optics Co., Ltd. and Hanglas Safety (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. it reveals the principle that supported by ERP and other IT system, BPR will be implemented step by step in the organized enterprise. As to the new enterprise, it can be orgnized directly according to BPR theory and ERP which can be used to manage all the source in order to make the new enterprise have strong competition ability.
