The Research Of Development Situation And Countermeasures Of The Convention And Exhibition In Nanjing

In recent years, as well as the sustainable development of economy and rapid increase of import & export trade, the industry of convention and exhibition (CEI) is becoming a new industry in China. But because of the unbalanced development among areas, the impact of the CEI in some areas has not appeared. At present, the development of the CEI does not comfort to the status of economy in Nanjing, which locates in Yangtse River Delta. Therefore, the research on the development of the CEI in Nanjing will help exert the advantage and potential on this industry, which has much practical value for theory and application research.On the base of the collection of the research result home and aboard & the analysis of the CEI in China, via contrastive data ,the theory of"the Industry Chain"along with the model"SWOT", the author analyses the development situation of the CEI of Nanjing meticulously. Moreover, the author initially puts forward the countermeasures of the development of the CEI of Nanjing according to the reality.Through the research, the author reckons that the reasons of the relative lag of the development of the CEI of Nanjing are the unsatisfied exertion of the advantage on situation, industries and literal human etc. i.e., not well grasping the environmental chance of the development of the economy in Yangtse River Delta, the limitation of the space of showing room, the scattered organizations of examining and approving ,the status declining, and the development of the replacer and so on. Thus, the author suggests that the development of the CEI of Nanjing should be exerted by setting up the competitive industry advantage, solving the competitive industry disadvantage, grasping the environmental chance and avoiding the environmental threaten.
