The friendly cooperation between China and Africa has a history of more than 2000 years. The economic and trade relation between China and Africa has been important components of Sino-African relations all the time. The establishment of the People's Republic of China has opened up a new era of Sino-African economic and trade relation. In the last half century, Sino-African economic and trade relation based on friendly foundation of the equality is developed smoothly. In order to develop the Sino-Africa cooperation more deeply in 21centery, Sino-Africa create a new form of cooperation—the forum of Sino-Africa corporation. And by so, the relation between China and Africa had enhanced in the past several years.This paper focuses economic and trade cooperation of Sino-Africa, reviews the development course of the cooperation of trade between China and Africa, sums up the changes and characteristics of the experience in each historical stages of economic and trade relation between China and Africa. In the 2nd half of the 20th century constantly changing in the international situation, China and African countries have supported each other developed economic and trade cooperation of both sides actively, expanded the economic and trade and method in proper time, and settled good foundation for further development of China and African economy and trade cooperation. China is the biggest developing country; Africa is the most centralized continent of developing countries. During the new century, china and Africa both face one key strategic opportunity, and have common task and demand. The more important thing is, economic and political complementarily between China and Africa is still strengthening constantly. Looking forward to the future, the cooperation in economy and trade of Sino-Africa will have bright prospects in the new century.
