Now, more and more foreign companies of sanitaryware enter China's market, include the top 10 big companies in the world .These companies competed with domestic companies face to face. But these foreign companies focus on the costly sanitary products, domestic companies had not ability to compete with these foreign companies .They usually make and sell the cheap products only.People's wish of improving the quality of sanitation and bathroom ware is continuously strengthened due to the Chinese economics developing fast and fast, so, many domestic companies began to make and sell the medium-grade and costly sanitary products to grasp the opportunity and occupy the market.All of the competitors be on to that marketing is very important and basic in present Chinese market, but how to do accurately is very difficult for many domestic companies especially.It is very colossal researches for me to study the whole marketing systems of sanitaryware industry, so, I choose this thesis - marketing channels and channel management of costly sanitaryware in Chinese market. Because channels is more complex and difficult to adjust than products, price and promotion for manufacturers of sanitary, products in Chinese market.In this thesis, Firstly , relevant marketing theory and literature on marketing channels and channel management are reviewed and classified: such as the conception, function and structure of marketing channels. And how to choice, train, inspirit and evaluate the marketing channels. Channel conflict management and channel partnership management. At the same time, I analyzed the present situation of sanitaryware industry include volume ofmarket, competitors, demand and the representative market in China, it include Shanghai, Beijing and Guangdong province. In addition,I analyzed the development history of channel, all of the outlets of sanitaryware.Secondly, Some important Issues are discussed in details, include what is costly sanitary products, consumer behavior and organization buying of costly sanitaryware. Channels length, channels width, structure of marketing channels. How to choice, train, inspirit and evaluate the marketing channels. Channel conflict management and channel partnership management of costly sanitaryware in Chinese market.Finally, through the case study of change of marketing channels about American and European sanitaryware brand since they enter Chinese market, some advices on channel structure and channel management are presented for domestic companies.I try to do some creative researches on marketing channels and channel management of costly sanitary products , and I hope that this thesis can help the Chinese medium-grade and costly sanitaryware manufactures.
