The devotion to the tourism resources development has changed from government-donation to the civil capital and the capital market.The history of the tourism resource development is divided into five stages: original utilization of the resource, initial development of the resource, the entire development of the resource, the deep utilization of the resource, and the post-development of the resource.Research on financing methods of tourism resources is at the heart of tourism development. It focuses on the problem of how to satisfy and guide the tourism market in the targets and favorable services case of shortage of sources in tourism development. At present, sustainable development is the core of Tourism developments. It means not only ecological development but also economical and social development, which is also the principle of financing methods choices in tourism resource development.Lacking of capital is becoming more and more evident in the process of China's tourism development. Only by tackling this problem can China's tourism industry realize benign development. This thesis, with sustainable development as the guide, analyses different financing methods for developing tourism resource, and makes suggestions on options of the re-engineering and optimization of the financing structure of tourism based on the theory of capital cost and financing structure. The aim of the thesis is to build a system of financing methods for China's tourism so as to realize good communication between investors and developers, strengthen the government's role in financing process and realize market's role in allocating tourism resources and capital. To sum up, we should always keep in mind sustainable development when developing tourism so as to combine various financing methods in an effective way.
