Multinational Corporation's Foreign R&D Investment And The Adjustment Of The Home Country's Industry Structure

In recent years, the Chinese development has obtained the achievement which attracts worldwide attention. But with the strengthening of the environmental protection consciousness, the intensifying of the energy crisis, and the fast development of the technical economy, Chinese extensive production method has not been able to meet the need to develop further. At present we lack the knowledge, technology, and talented person to promote the industrial structure, so we need to gain these essential factors imprecisely. The original means of introducing technology to promote industrial structure meets more and more limits. Every country in the world has been becoming more and more anxious about the economic security and the protection of the intellectual property rights, this leads to that most of we have imported is the component and part, and the part containing key technologies has been completed in the homeland. So we find it difficult to study, imitate and improve the technology. The developed country's experiences reveal that we could achieve advanced technology by import and foreign direct investment in research in developed country. In general, in the initial period of development the main method is to depend on introduction, with the development of technology the latter becomes more and more important. We find that we have come to the turning point from relying on introduces excessively to depending heavily on foreign research and development investment to utilize the high technology of the developed country considering the international situation , the domestic need and our technological ability.
