Having been affected by the adoption of E-Commerce, Supply Chain Collaboration, Globalization, Quick Response, Just-In-Time, the concept of modern warehousing management is playing a more significant role in the commercial environment ever than before. The demand for warehousing management has been increased dramatically. Both venders and buyer are keen on the decrease of inventory carrying cost by inventory control, in order to improve the core competence in the marketplace. Therefore, the business transactions are increased while the business volume was getting down. As the result, the category of products that need to be processed and stored become more and more, as well as the orders to be accepted and delivered. Meanwhile, the clients are requesting more tailor-made, exclusive, customerized value-added services than ever before.At the meantime, the warehousing service providers are encountering more difficulties because of the increasing demand of improvement from the clients. In such an intensely competitive environment, what the customers want is a more quick response. They get less time for order processing and low mistake rate is permitted. However, the current warehouse management system (WMS) merely satisfy such requirements. This request a high standard operation process (SOP) to a third party logistics company.In order to match the customer's requirements for quick delivery and low cost, the management focuses more on the productivity and cost analysis related to the process of warehousing. By re-designing the layout and changing functions of the warehouse, we may achieve the target of low cost, quick response and low mistake rate. Relocation is also important to improve the value-added services that would help to establish and maintain the relationship with the clients, as well as to set up a systematic, customerized and integrated logistics services.The logistics warehouse is a hub in the supply chain. Its characteristics include the Internet structure, Automation, Security Monitoring System, Intelligent Decision-Making system, etc. The logistics warehouse operation system is an integrated system. Except for the traditional warehouse operations, it provides the services which link the sectors of the supply chain seamlessly, namely add the value from the point of suppliers to the ultimate users.
