Research On Coordination In Supply Chain With A Core Manufacturing Enterprise

With science and technology progressing, demand of consumers changing, market competition becoming more and more intense and economy globalization speeding up, supply chain management(SCM in short) has been more and more important for enterprises' maintaining and developing.Especially, the fact that many famous international enterprises have made much progress during the practice of SCM makes it firmly believed that SCM is an efficient management pattern for enterprises to compete globally. But in utilizing SCM, enterprises still have many problems to be settled urgently, such as inventory level still high, how to select co-operative partners, difficulty of coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises, asymmetric information among member enterprises in supply chain, profits allocation, the entirely supply chain resource allocation efficiency and so on. Thus, making a thorough study of SCM has important theoretical and practical value. In recent years, the study of SCM has been an important hot research field for researchers all over the world.This paper summarizes the relevant literatures of the overseas and domestic study on SCM, reviews the background of putting forward SCM in brief. On the basis of literature study, the main work of the paper is put forward and a brief introduction o f the framework of the paper is given. The basic theory of SCM and principal-agent theory, which the theoretical research base in the paper, are introduced briefly. The problems of suppliers' election and evaluation, channel coordination and incentive problems in supply chain and some principal-agent problems are studied mainly in the paper. In the end, a summarization of the main work of the paper is made and further research direction of the author is proposed. The main work in this paper is as bellow:(1) Suppliers' election and appraisal problem. Looked from the entire supply chain, supplier's achievements to the core enterprise and even the entire supply chain are both very important. In order to effectively appraise, choose the supplier, on the basis of the literature, the TOPSIS method applying to the question in which the supplier chooses the solution because person's subjective factor which produces the influence, especially the relative importance of each index is not obvious, may definite the target weight objectively. Moreover, for convenience, this article constructs the evaluation system with four factors, lead time, product quality, delivery reliability and price, which are commonly regarded as the most important factors.
