Research On The Risks And Governance Of BOT Project Financing Model

Based on the research of BOT project financing theories, under the background of practices of BOT project in China, this dissertation gives an analysis on the operational model, discusses the risk of BOT and gives relative governance advices.Firstly, this dissertation sets forth the concept and characteristics of BOT, and concludes the advantages relative to other project financing models, such as product payment, forward purchase, finance lease, TOT and ABS.Secondly, based on the analysis of operational mechanism of BOT, this dissertation gives a conclusion on the problems and risks of BOT practices in fundamental facilities construction.Thirdly, this dissertation gives a classification of risks of BOT and gives relative governance methods.Last, in the BOT expressway case, this dissertation gives a concrete analysis about the financing process and risk management of BOT, and gives a referring model of BOT practices in fundamental facilities financing.
