An Economics Analysis Of Bank Competitiveness In China

An study of commercial bank competitiveness includes four questions: what's the bank competitiveness; How to evaluate it ; What are the factors of influence bank competitiveness; How to promote and foster it. In order to solve these questions, we build an economics system of analysis bank competitiveness. Based on the theory of enterprise competitiveness,financial intermediation,modern competition,bank management and the characteristics of bank, we answered the question"what's the bank competitiveness". And then, based on the theory of enterprise economics and industrial organization economics, we posed the internal and external factors of influence bank competitiveness. Finally, in order to give some advices of lifting the competitiveness in china, we constructed the index system of bank competitiveness and evaluated it.The preliminary conclusions of this study are:1,the article included the concept of bank competitiveness. It is that, under the given market structure, influenced by public policy and the relationship of supply and demand, following the principle of safety,liquidity and profit, bank constantly adapted requirements of technology progress and finance innovation, in order to develop sustainable in market competition.2,External influence factors include market structure,market conduct and market control according the industrial organization economics.3,Internal influence factors include organization structure,govern mechanism,innovation,inspiration mechanism,property right and strategy ect, according the enterprise economics.4,This article indicated: organization structure,govern mechanism,innovation,inspiration mechanism,property right,management and labor power but bank scale are all the key influence factors in china.
