After China joined into WTO. , the industrial structure has been adjusted rapidly. More and more high-technology and high-value products are increasing the demands of air cargo, also appointing comprehensive logistic services requirement from air carriers. The opening of airline rights in China attracts more foreign air carriers flying new cargo flights to and from China, which brought into modern air-logistics mode . In order to meet the needs of air-logistics development, some large airports, especially hub airports will establish the air-logistics park to perfect the air-logistics services and enhance their cargo competitiveness.Although some airports have high warm of building air-logistics park, the plans of air-logistics park lack of adequate theoretical foundation and the practical experiences are inadequate. If the plans are not scientific enough, the improper functions of the air-logistics park, the too large of the scale, the unreasonable layout will be exposed, which will bring difficulties to the operation. This article points the air-logistics park's basic structure and main function, according to the air-logistics park's formation mechanisms and operating mode.Besides that, the logistics system planning theory has been used to study the the air-logistics park's planning, including planning procedures, development orientation, demand forecasting, site layout, operating mode, information system planning and the evaluation methods of the planning scheme. This article makes the example of planning and designing of Nanjing airport air-logistics park, to introduce the specific application of the air-logistics park system planning. At last, this article put forward some opinions and suggests for the system pla nning method of the air-logistics park.
