Research On The Value Diagnose System Of Company Based On EVA

Under the new economic environment, traditional accountancy measure indexes have been outdated. In order to compete efficiently and maximize its value, the company need to add new measure indexes and financial management means to the old results evaluation system. The concept'Economic value added(EVA)'which was brought forward by Stern Stewart &CO. and the analyse methods which follows have caused attention and many issues of the academic circles recently.At present the research on EVA mainly concentrate in two aspects: One is the validity of EVA as an index for accomplishment evaluation; The other is the salary encourage system based on EVA. For my personal interest and study experiences, we won't discuss the validity of EVA in this thesis but just assume EVA is the best index to explain company value, and want to develop a system which can be used for analysing and guiding the company to increase its value.The corn question we research in this thesis is the design of'company value diagnose system'based on EVA. So after the brief review and summarize the theory and research on EVA, we begin to decompound the EVA index into different types of value-driven factors which we called'composing factors'&'former factors'. After that, we analyze the company's EVA character and classify all the companies into four types. Then, we can bring out the crucial value resources and strategies for a given company. Until now, this value diagnose system has been elementary developed.After that, we turn our research to the application of this diagnose system. In this thesis we enumerate some imaginable domains: Investor relationship management (IRM), information exposal for listed companies etc. In the chapter five, we will show you how to use this diagnose system by using the financial data of a listed company.Finally this thesis summarize the questions still existing while studying and looks into the distance. And hoping the foundational study about the EVA and the value diagnose system, and the frame and thought of structurization put forward by this thesis can supply certain help and reference to company's value management.
