Research On The Manufacturing Management Model Of Housing Industry Mass Customization

Residence construction is closely related to people's living standard, the quality of life and the national economic construction, and it has huge impetus for the social economy development. Since our country always adopts "the-brick-plus-the cement"-construction pattern-the extensive housing construction pattern, this does not meet the need of the economic development no matter from the angle of the production efficiency or the product quality. It is essential to study the new housing construction pattern in order to push housing industrialization forward, raise the housing industry productivity and solve the contradiction between increasing housing demand and resources shortage.The paper studied the changes of the modern industry production pattern and the experience of housing production pattern home and abroad. It proposed a kind of new housing production pattern — Mass Customization through comparing the housing production patterns of developed countries and integrating the new development direction of Chinese residence construction in the recent years.Mass Customization is an advanced production patter that is geared to the 21st century. It integrates mass customization of housing method and large-scale production, which are originally opposed to each other. MC maintains low production cost and the short delivery time in advance while meeting the customers' individualized need. The mass customization of housing is by using the industrialization production method, according to the market demand, provides multiple and individualized housing. Under the circumstances of the highly developed information society, this kind of production pattern will be able to bring unprecedented high efficiency to the housing industry; which is of vital significance for a nation's economic construction.
