In the recent several years, tremendous changes have taken place in the globalmarket environment: market globalization;excessive customer demands;increasing-ly demand for multiple products with the high quality, reliable and the environmentstandard;product development process speeds up;the market competition becomesintense day by day. FAW-JieFang Automotive Com. Ltd. is facing more dynamicand uncertain environment. Today, the challenge FAW face is to look for the newoperation method, in order to reach flexibility, reliable and quick response. Agilesupply chain offers the new way for the manufacturing company fully utilizes globalresources, quick respond market demands, improve the competitive power etc..But under such microenvironment, traditional Mass Production exposes itsshortages that can't adapt to the turbulent market. At the same time, a kind of newmanagement mode appears that not only can cause the turbulence but also can growup strong and sturdy in the turbulence Mass Customization.This dissertation attempts to combine them together and stress on the study offorming agile supply chain based on MC, and strives to remedy defects of the tradi-tion supply chain and realize the strategic competition advantage and economicworth of ASC based on MC while banding the relevant theory perfectly. Amongthem, Mass Customization theory is the main theoretical foundation of thisdissertation, so need to find the approach and theory and technical support to realizethe MC on the basis of understanding MC's basic thought. I hope that thisdissertation can play some reference function to realize MC's great-leap-forwarddevelopment in our country through the analyzing of MC's realization.The core of MC is product variety and sharply increasing customizationwithout increasing the cost accordingly. So, after finding the MC's value cut-in point,realize it by means of agile supply chain. This dissertation modularizing divides thecustomizing products according to the MC's requests, and constructed supply chainfor the standard parts and customized parts respectively, then through postpone tech-nology integrates them, at last, produces outputs adapting to market demands. Mean-while, utilize products design characteristic, reclaims the product that are eliminatedby the clients finally, and come being into reverse logistic and forms the closed-loopsupply chain. From the view of FAW in supply chain nodes, spreads the function ofsupply chain on organization construction and manufacture system.This essay contains 5 chapters and they read as follows:Preface describes the present situation of Agile Supply Chain and Mass Custo-mization, analyses the present situation of overseas and domestic research in relativefields, and reads the contents of the essay.Chapter One is the background and aims. It describes the characteristics ofAgile Supply Chain Management Theory. Based on comparing the Mass Production and Mass Customization, it discuses the characteristics and basic theory of MC,the influencing factor built on MC's Agile Supply Chain, and the significance MC'sAgile Supply Chain.Chapter Two is MC's cycling implement. MC's cycling implement empha-sizes on product variety, customization methods and MC's key ability. It analysesthe Production Support and Procession Technology Support, which properly run theMC's cycling implement.Chapter Three is the guide to build MC's Agile Supply Chain. It describes theprinciple and procession of building MC's Agile Supply Chain with sample models.It also discusses how to choose partners who support this structure.Chapter Four is FAW JieFang Automotive Com. Ltd.'s plan to achieve MC'sAgile Supply Chain. It describes the feasibility, rationality and other positive features of this plan by examples. It also gives the implemental details of buildingMC's Agile Supply Chain.This essay applies MC's Agile Supply Chain theory to FAW JieFang AutomotiveCom. Ltd.'s daily management. It would greatly enhance the company's manage-ment, improves TPS and reduces the cost.
