Requirement Analysis And Study Of Intelligent Expressway System

Intelligent transportation system(ITS) is the acknowledged best way to solve traffic problems all around the world. Intelligent expressway system is one important part of ITS. It's the application of the idea and related technoleges of ITS on the management of expressway. It's very important to study intelligent expressway system as China is in a period that expressway is developing rapidly now. Requirement of Intelligent expressway system is analyzed and the system is studied in this paper.The method of IDEF is used in this paper as the tool of general programming and system anlysis and design. The model is built in a manner of top-down so that the whole benefit of the system can be brought into play and the building of the system can be promoted.The main researches can can be summed up as following aspects:1.The development course, system framework and main researches of ITS and the development of expressway intelligentizing are introduced and summarized.2.Requirements of the system are analyzed based on the unique statue of Chinese expressway and the idiographic needs of expressway users. And then a framework model of the system is presented. The model has five levels according to the function and trait of different modul.3.Basic rules and modeling method of IDEF are introduced. Function model and data model of intelligent transportation system are built using IDEF0 and IDEF1X to exactly describe the system in detail.4.Main subsystems are studied including expressway electronic toll management system, despatch control system, inteligent maintenance system, accident emergency rescue system and common information releasing system. The logic framework, configuration and function moduls of these systems are presented.Finally, conclusions of all research efforts in the paper are drawn, and shorteges of the study are pointed out.
