During the development of National Economic, Commercial Bank make a non-substituted role as an absolute economic entity. With the global economic and integrative and informational finance, Commercial Bank make a great change in work modes, work ideas and service area. Competitiveness between Comercia Banks become more and more complex and dynamic.At the same time, China entry into WTO, China commercial banks will face much fiercer competition environment. Then , to conduct objective and systematic analysis and appraisement of the competitiveness of china commercial banks and Provide effective strategies to improve their competitiveness is the key to keep the stabilization of China's banking and the whole financial industry.The study maily encircle the two clue of bank competitiveness theory and the appraisal index system of bank competitiveness.Seven departments are included based on the study idea that follow the list of theory, positive analysis and policy reform. The sixth, the thesis Provides specific countermeasures of competitiveness improvement. based on the main conclusion of the above positive analysis of 14 commercial banks.the last one is the conclution of the thesis.Through analyzing ,the thesis gets several conclusion,firstly, competitiveness has arrangement,while analyzing commercial bank competitiveness should take the bank characteristic into thought ,at the same time,it is shown in the the appraisal index system of bank competitiveness.Secondly, competitiveness express not only short-time ability but lasting and developing ability.So it is ploted out realism, latency, permanence and environment competitiveness.Thirdly,most chna's commmercial bank competitiveness is lower than international big bank,especialy in latency and permanence competitiveness. Forthly,according to the problem that china's commercial banks exist, improving outside environment,reforming basic system and advancing intenor management and so on should be taken into account to advancing commercial bank's international competitiveness.
