| In a long time, the level of service industry development is lower than the average level of economic growth in Shenyang. Nowadays, in Shenyang, the proportion of conventional service industry such as Business, Catering Service and Storage is high in the whole service industry, while modern service industry such as Finance, Telecommunication and Real Estate develop incompletely. This phenomenon causes an unreasonable service sector. This article studies how to improve the service sector in Shenyang in order to provide the worthy reference.This article includes five parts. The first part is the introduction. It introduces the research background, method, and the thoughts of the whole article. The second part expands on the theories of service industry. It includes two parts. One is the factors influencing changes in the service sector. The other one is the categories within the service industry. In the categories section, the author chooses a new method----combining two methods according to function and time. This measure is creative. The third part is analyzing the service industry in Shenyang. This part applies SPSS and EXCEL statistical software to analyze the relationship between service industry and GDP, investment, and population. It is the creation of the whole article. Moreover, it compares the service industry in Shenyang with other cities', then it finds the problems of Shenyang service industry, and analyses the reasons. The fourth part is the improvement strategies of Shenyang service industry. This part contains the structural adjustment strategies of service industry programming from 2006 to 2010 in Shenyang. Developing the education and culture is a creation. Furthermore, it quotes a statistical model to forecast the service industry proportion in GDP in Shenyang many years later. The strategy of improving modern service industry is the important one. The final part is the conclusion of the article. It puts forward the advice of the government and departments. |
