Managerial employees form the core component of employees'group. Their contribution plays a significant role in enterprise's development. Based on the current compensation management theories, the paper discusses the issues about the compensation of the state-owned enterprises with the background of compensation reformation. The thesis analyzes the salary distribution in state-owned enterprises in the current situation. Strengthening the encouraging function of salary plays an important role in absorbing and stabilizing talents and fully arousing managerial employees'working enthusiasm. According to the relevant theory of human resources management, the salary will be directed against the characteristics and personal demands of the managerial employees when being assigned, by means of which the corresponding salary distribution policy is expected to receive the good result.Firstly, the paper introduces the definition of the compensation, state-owned enterprises and the managerial employees. Then it gives us a general review of the development of the compensation system in state-owned enterprises. On the basis of these, the paper has a foothold in the characteristics of the managerial employees and analyzes the related problems about the managerial employees'compensation in state-owned enterprises emphatically. Finally, it gives some constructive advices to Chinese companies to adjust their compensation system for the managerial employees.
