A Study On The Industrial Clusters And Issues Of Development Zone

After more than 20 years'hard work, national economic technical Development Zone has been developed to be an external industrial zone which is of intensive land, modern manufacturing concentration and prominent industrial cluster effect. However, most of the Development Zones have not fostered their industry clusters with their own characteristics on the basis of their own resources, but tend to be similar in industries, functions, structures, and modes and so on. That is to say, redundant construction is a really serious problem. In fact, the direct cause of"industries gathering"is the preferential land and tax policies in Development Zones. This kind of spatial gathering of industries is only the blind stacking of enterprises, rather than genuine industrial clusters. Therefore, efforts to explore the practical application value of industry cluster theory in Chinese Development Zones have great theoretical and practical significance.Starting with the competitive advantage of industrial clusters, its origin, external condition and the formation condition are analyzed in this dissertation. Meanwhile, the existent problems of Development Zones in our country are analyzed based on industrial clusters theory, and accordingly, strategically countermeasures to develop industrial clusters in those Development Zones is brought forward based on this analysis. Hence, new ideas are provided for the construction of industrial clusters in Development Zones in our country.Chapter 1: The problems are put forward and the significance of the research is analyzed, then the industrial cluster theory is retrospect.Chapter 2: The development and research of the development zones are summarized.Chapter3: Regarding the external economics made by industrial clusters as the origin of the prominent competitive advantage, industry cluster's competitive advantage is analyzed.Chapter 4: Based on the analysis of the relationship between industrial clusters and regional economic development, the condition to form industrial clusters and existent problems are analyzed.Chapter 5: Based on the analysis of the case of the development of YanTai industrial cluster, some specific suggestions are proposed, mainly from three aspects, including government, enterprises and industrial agency.
