| Science and technology breakthroughs are rapidly taking place as our society advances. Competition in this market has become fierce and competitive. In order to compete in the technological field, new management strategies must be dynamic and contemporary. Former management practices under the planned economy system are no longer in line with contemporary ideas. Therefore strategies will need to be modified in order to survive in the modern high tech world. The Plant Management Information System (PMIS) is designed to improve working efficiencies. However it may not bring about a desired effect due to the difficulty of the PMIS implementation in the enterprise to some extent. It is consequently necessary to search for an improved approach to bring the PMIS to a specific purpose and help the enterprisers to enhance the overall plant management quality.The thesis firstly researches the status of the PMIS, its application, content and relationship with the ERP. Then introduce the MAXIMO system, which is one of the development trends of PMIS. Thirdly begin the problem investigation and analysis about the system changeover, organization and personnel reorganization when the PMIS system was put into use. Based on the above, together with the example investigation of the implementation of the operating company, give the clear ideas and find solutions to avoid problems. Finally, through implementing the MAXIMO system in the operating company by using graphs and other tracking methods to evaluate the MAXIMO system and point out shortages that need to be improved continually in future. Therefore the equipment and facilities maintenance personnel can keep the process in good condition by enhancing the overall plant management quality and ensure the plant management modernization. The research result has positive value to operating systems thus prove to be financially beneficial to the personnel and the company. |
