China is the second largest investing market in the world now, average GDP each year is about 7%. The standard of living is making progress. The business mode is variation. Hypermarket grows sooner than other chain retailers and the competitions between hypermarkets is more and more severity. With the variety environmental, the operators of hypermarket should hold the opportunity and make out the stratagem choice effectively. So, this paper analyzes the development environment, study the developing strategy choice for NEXTMALL in the south of Jiangsu.In this paper, first, it introduces the conception and classify to retailing and chain retailing, analyses superiorities and shortcomings of chain retailing and hypermarket. Then analyses the development of China retail trade,competitor mode and the influence of foreign capitals to China retail trade. It introduces the basic complexion of NEXTMALL, analyses the external environment from economy, society, policy and ability. It analyses the trade environment by the Porter's competition former, the dominances and inferior positions. At the last, it takes apart the NEXTMALL management strategy from the NEXTMALL developing idea and aim. It discusses the developing strategy choice for NEXTMALL in the south of Jiangsu.
