Along with strengthen of business enterprise environmental protection, more and more business enterprise have already been aware of an environment factor to have become an important factor in its economic activities, have to bring the environment factor into its strategy management and decision, then canning carry out a business enterprise keep on sustainable development. But seeing from the existing research, the business enterprise performance index that be draw up by the national department lacks environment index, business enterprise's "effort" and "contribution" can't adequately appear, that influences the enterprise's aware of participating in environment management. According to this, this paper based on achievements in domestic and international environment performance evaluation, mainly researched part of our country coal business enterprise, with sustainable development, cyclic economy theories and benefits related theories for the instruction, put forward enterprise environment performance index system, and comprehensive evaluation method that is suitable for our country business enterprise, and took coal business enterprise as an example to carry on concrete applied, hoping to provide a foundation for business enterprise environment performance evaluation system.In addition to preface and conclusion, the main part of this paper includes four parts. The first part analysed sustainable development, cyclic economy and benefits related theories, provided a theories foundation for business enterprise environment performance evaluation, thus provided necessary cushion and analytical premise for this paper; The second part designed questionnaire for coal business enterprise, to research the present condition and the attitude to enterprise environment performance evaluation, lay practical foundation for this paper; The third part evaluated related theories of business enterprise environment performance evaluation, put forward some principles that should follow when constructed environment performance evaluation system, at the same time, designed evaluation index system, based on this, by means of setting up evaluation model, put forward comprehensive evaluation method suitable for our country business enterprise practice; The four part researched application of business enterprise environment performance evaluation method. On the basis of empirical work, take coal business enterprise as example, verificated business enterprise environment performance evaluation system, and got evaluation conclusion.
