Research On Finance Innovational Product Development Process

With China's entering to the WTO,financial liberalization and globalization of financial markets, competitions among financial institutions were increasing, so it was important to design and develop new financial products which could improve their competitive ability. How to develop the financial products successfully had become the fashionable issue in the financial industry.In the background, the paper chose to research the issue of financial innovational products development. Firstly, we conducted a questionnaire survey in the aspect of financial innovational products development activities and turned to some financial institutions in Anhui Province. In the base of the analysis of data from some financial institutions in Anhui, we simulated new financial products development process used by the financial institutions currently. After analyzing the whole process ,we found problems and shortcomings existing in the financial innovational products development process; Secondly we used Stage-Gate Systems(SGS)which is the new financial product development process being successful implemented in some of the foreign financial institutions for reference, and improved the relatively inefficient financial innovational product development process using in Anhui Province currently; Finally, we brang personal housing mortgage-backed securities (MBS) into improved financial innovation product development processes to display rationality and validity of the improved product development process more clearly.
