After 30 years reform and development, China's material base already developed to the certainly degree.China is in the phase of developing from the light industry to the heavy industry and gradually to the high tech industry,but the industrial promotion needs the support of high tech industry.The early several dozens of years of 21st century will be essential for China to launch science and technology. China has developed the plan of enlarging technical investment and technical innovation in the following five years. Therefore, research of R&D investment will be the intense practical significance to china.The key of his article is to make the efficiency research of R&D of 30 regions with the DEA model (data envelope analysis method) .The result of the DEA model reflects the efficiency of input into Sichuan R&D objectively. DEA model is introduced in detail first, and R&D target system is established. Data is put into the model and results are got automaticly by using Lindo software. The different DEA data of 30 regions reflect if one region is efficiency in input into the R&D. Finally, results are interpreted in detail and suggests about how to upgrade the efficiency in input into the R&D are depicted.
