Design And Application Of Balanced Scorecard(BSC) System In Zidan Company

Shanghai Zidan company was founded in 1996 by co-investment of Zijing Enterprise and IFU(Denmark Industrialization Fund of Development Countries). It is a professional packaging and printing company. The company, with 16,800 square meters construction area and 35,000 square meters land area, is located in Hang Economic Development Zone. The green land is over 50% of the factory area. The company with total investment of USD 29.98 million is equipped with word class machines and facilities and technology, including Heideberg and manroland offsets.Shanghai Zidan company is developing and expanding quickly. In order to develop, The company set up the quality assurance system of ISO9000, Environment Protection system of ISO14000, Food safety system of HACCP and Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP). In 2004, the company planed to set up Balanced Scorecard (BSC) management system. I took pride in executing the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a constant of qida management consulting company because of BSC project.This paper is up of 5 chapters which introduce the application of BSC according to the character of zidan company. Chapter 1 introduces the principle of Balanced scorecard management system. Chapter 2 points out the problems that must be cleared before BSC application. Chapter 3 lists the jobs that must be prepared before BSC application. Chapter 4 introduces the important process of setting up the BSC system of top management. Chapter 5 mainly introduces how to set up BSC system of every function Department according to management responsibility.
