Study Of The Evolutional Process Of Business Centers Hierarchical System In Lanzhou And Its Trends In Future

The urban business spatial structure is an important component of the city spatial structure. As the most prosperous and vital district in the city, business centre is a spatial miniature of the third industry economical development, which reflects the progress of the mankind civilization. For its development and evolvemental process is deeply influenced by the natural factors and human factors, it usually becomes the important research realm which both the urban geography and city planning study. As one of the biggest central cities in northwest China, Lanzhou city is an important commercial city on the ancient Silk Road and the Longhai-Lanxin Economical Belt; It is also a pivotal throat which can enter northwest region of our country. So it is important and necessary to research the evolutional agents and mechanism of Lanzhou's business centers hierarchical system throughout its historical process, especially analyzing the evolutional mechanism and primary factors under the influence of the market economy's leading and city plan's guiding, after reform and opening. According to this, the paper makes an attempt to research this realm.As a typical valley-basin city in plateau, the form of business spatial structure in Lanzhou is deeply influenced by its spatial location and society- economy system. Firstly, in virtue of clustering analysis, Delphi method and fuzzy evaluation, the paper introduces the viewpoints of Lanzhou's society-economy system, and combines the evolutional process of Lanzhou urban spatial form to analyze the total evolution process of Lanzhou business centres hierarchical system qualitatively and quantitatively, which is from one core to multi-core and multitiered pattern to more well-appointed tertiary structure; Secondly, through analyzing the evolutional processes of business centers in developed cities home and abroad, chapter 4 of the paper analyzes the intrinsical agents of the downtown business centres structure in Lanzhou qualitatively, which bases on general acting factors , particular human factors and its natural physiognomy factors, such as urbanization, city plan, policy and so on-, Finally, according to the study of the comparisons with the homologous cities, combining with the future development trend of Lanzhou spatial structure, predicts the trend of Lanzhou's business centers hierarchical system in the future. For actualizing these goals, the paper attempts to put forward a concrete and feasible scheme, and gives some suggestions on its implementary measures and safeguarded policy.
