Research On Competitiveness Of Enterprise Clusters In Yangtze Delta Area

The enterprise cluster is a kind of worldwide economic phenomena, which is the massive related enterprises and the organizations concentrating in a specific region scope according to the certain economical and technical connection, and forming an enterprise community similar to the system of biology organism. In the condition of economical globalization, there are many successful enterprises cluster such as the textile industry cluster in northern Italy, Denmark's furniture enterprise cluster, American's IT enterprise clusters in silicon valley, Japan's automobile enterprise cluster and so on. These successful enterprise clusters show a strong competitive advantage, and the problem of enterprise cluster becomes a hot topic which attracts the world wide attention in both economics and management fields.The phenomenon of enterprise cluster is prominent in the Yangtze delta area, which has attracted the domestic and overseas scholar's attention. However, there are not many research literatures about the competitiveness of the enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area. The enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area is still at the initial stage during the process of the transform of planned economy system to market economy system, and the interior organic relation and the innovation of the enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area are still weak. The competitiveness of enterprise clusters needs be enhanced. Therefore, this Paper is advantageous to rich and perfect enterprise clusters theory, and provides the essential intelligence support for the promotion of competitiveness of the enterprise clusters in Yangtze delta area. It enables the Yangtze delta area to display the functions that promote the regional economy development and even the whole state economy, and enhance the regional competitive ability. At the same time, it provides the reference significance for our country's development of enterprise clusters in other area, and is helpful to advances our country's advancement of modern industrialization.Firstly, this paper analyses the competitiveness of enterprise clusters, and summarizes the conception of the competitiveness of enterprise clusters, under the foundation of reviewing the fundamental research of enterprise clusters and the competitiveness of enterprise clusters. Then it introduces the present situation of enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area, according to the characteristics of distribution of the enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area, and contrast analysis to them. Finally, it proposes the countermeasures to promote the competitiveness of enterprise clusters, considering the restrict factors of the competitiveness of enterprise clusters in the Yangtze delta area.
